buyers beware, you would think that based on the price and the fact that it is an old dutch name brand that this tray and the matching ones would be solid copper. they are not. ive had my tray for a few weeks now and i noticed a couple of scratched where the metal had discolored. "no biggie" i thought. i figured the laquer had scratched off and the copper below had patina'd. so i went to clean it with brasso and found that there is only a thin electro plating of copper on a tin or stainless base. this is outragiously priced for such a poorly made product
